US Sport Planes sells aircraft direct to the customer. Aircraft are delivered from our completion center at KSYI in Shelbyville, Tennessee or our headquarters at KDTO in Denton, Texas.

If you purchase a used plane, you should use a Jabiru competent CFI and arrange training. Using the Flight Training Supplement from the aircraft POH is highly recommended.

Owner responsibilities for LSA aircraft ownership are spelled out in the POH. Please make sure that you review that guide and that you comply with all the provisions.

5 hours of transition training is included with the purchase of a new aircraft, and used airplanes typically do not have a checkout included in the price. SLSA aircraft handle differently than conventional GA aircraft and require transition training to help ensure a smooth transition.

We strongly recommend that you have a QUALIFIED and experienced Jabiru instructor fly with you and you complete the transition syllabus.

We have a network of independent service centers that can do routine maintenance and Jabiru engine service. This network can be especially helpful when traveling away from your home airport. If you are not near a service center, an A&P or an LSRM with a Repairman Maintenance Rating, either using current Jabiru manuals, should have no problem servicing your engine or aircraft. Jabiru trained mechanics are always a better choice.
